River flat with tussock

Hello,
I am looking at buying 40 acres as we are liking the house and outlook. The only thing is is the land is river flat with tussock. Slashing worked beautifully on our last property. Reduced weeds and we got beautiful pasture. I had compliments with my Irish born vet saying "this looks like Ireland". Does slashing work on river flat with tussock? I want the property for horses.
